Laser Technician at The Cherrywood Clinic

Overview

The Cherrywood Clinic is an award-winning multi-site specialist laser aesthetics provider, based in Amersham and Hertford. We are a fast-growing and dynamic company, with an additional site planned for 2024 and a further site planned for 2025.

We are currently recruiting for a Laser Technician in our Hertford clinic. We are motivated by finding the right personalities first, and adapting and developing the role to fit both our needs and yours; with this in mind we are happy to consider full and part time applicants. Full training and qualifications will be
provided.

You will principally be responsible for providing our clients with top-of-the-line laser treatments that few clinics can match and none can better. Your primary qualification will be a drive to deliver excellence – and our desire is to support you in your aims and reward you when you achieve them.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivery of laser aesthetic treatments including hair removal, thread vein removal and skin rejuvenation.

Client liaison including consultation and client onboarding, treatment planning, and providing sound and appropriate treatment related advice.

Appointment bookings and diary management.

Equipment and consumable reporting to management.

Day-to-day maintenance of brand standards including clinic appearance and cleanliness.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

• Excellent customer communication skills – the ability to cultivate close working relationships with our clients is at the heart of what we do.
• Ability to work independently; a proven self-motivated individual.
• A strong attention to detail.
• A proven track record of punctuality, timekeeping and diary management.
• Enthusiasm for and willingness to learn practical science.
• A willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• GCSEs Grade C and above (or equivalent), including English, Maths and Science, and a good standard of written English.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a clinic/salon/spa or related organisation.
• VTCT/BTEC Level 4 in Laser and Light Technologies.
• Additional vocational or laser related qualifications, such as Core of Knowledge for Laser,
• VTCT Level 2 Infection Control, VTCT Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, VTCT/BTEC
• Level 4 Beauty.
• BSc/MSc in related field.
